"I have Cancer"... three little words no one ever wants to hear... but what do you say (and not say) about Cancer?

Cancer is messy, complex, weird - physically, and emotionally every body wants you back to normal, but the only place you can go is forward.

The day everyone is waiting for, GONG! Ringing the famous Cancer bell in celebration. Emotionally I wish it was that simple.

It was time to share what radiation looks like, and yet more interesting news on my diagnosis and treatment plan... it's never boring!

My hair was a thing and it wasn't a thing. In the past I have worn my hair very short but in our family hair is good, bad and ugly!

Its time to prepare for Radiation, and while I am at it bake some feelings...

It’s weird the things you take for granted, small things that are “normal”. Showering, driving… touching your toes!!

So what right, it’s just a coffee. But actually in reflection it’s more than that. It’s a touch of freedom, one less rule...

This is officially a vanity post… I got my eyelashes back... and learned so much along the way.

Sometimes it’s the small things… There isn’t a person following along that doesn’t know how important family is to me.

Time for chemo two... what is in store? Only time will tell.

As I tackle this journey it is super important for me to be optimistic about the future. I like to think about the next milestone...

Life since my first chemo treatment has simply been - a rollercoaster.

So today was treatment #1 I made Joel do a selfie in -19 weather… For once I look better than he does!
